We publish every fee in full, so you can decide with the numbers in front of you. Lessons are charged per term, and there are normally 10 one-to-one lessons in a term. The per-lesson figures below are the term fee spread across those 10 lessons, to help you compare. All fees include GST.

One-off annual registration

Payment and policies

What is not included

Music books, theory books, examination fees and Eisteddfod fees are not part of tuition and are billed separately. You will receive an invoice for any of these, payable within 7 days.

How payment works

  • There are 4 terms a year, normally 10 one-to-one lessons each.
  • Payment for each term is due before the end of the current term.
  • Mid-term enrolments are billed pro-rata and paid before the first lesson.
  • A payment not received by the due date attracts a $25 late fee on the follow-up invoice.
  • Tuition covers the whole term; no refund is given if a student withdraws before the term ends.
  • Repeated late payment may lead to lessons being suspended.

Missed-lesson policy

Your fee reserves a specific weekly time that is held just for your child. A lesson missed by the student is forfeited and still charged, and cannot be rescheduled or swapped to another time. The exceptions are illness or injury with a medical certificate, or a death in the family.

If you know about an absence ahead of time, email us at least 4 weeks in advance. We may offer one replacement lesson per year at the teacher's discretion, though replacement lessons are not guaranteed.

If your child's regular teacher is unavailable, that lesson is rescheduled, and the academy may provide a qualified substitute teacher. KiddyKeys and other group classes that are missed are forfeited and not rescheduled.

Withdrawing

Tuition covers the full term and is not refunded part-way through. If you need to withdraw, we ask for 4 weeks' notice by email to info@perthmusicacademy.com.au.
